The principle
Supporters get cosmetic and convenience extras. Supporters never get an algorithm advantage, more visibility, or anything that puts free users at a disadvantage. That's the line, and we won't cross it.
What you get
- Profile flair and a supporter badge. A small visual mark that you've chipped in. Some people care, some don't.
- Advanced search filters. Filter by very specific criteria: kinks, distance bands, last-active windows, vouch counts. The basic filters in free are perfectly good for finding people; these are for power users.
- See who has viewed you. Free users see view counts. Supporters see the actual list.
- Video uploads and video search. Upload short video clips to your profile and search for profiles with video. (Same content tier rules apply.)
- Early access to new features. When something new is in beta, supporters try it first. We use the feedback to refine before rolling out to everyone.
What you do not get
- More matches.
- Higher placement in browse.
- Priority in search results.
- Any kind of "boost" mechanic.
- Priority in moderation. (Reports are handled in priority order based on severity, not who paid for what.)
- Anything that makes free users feel like they're being throttled to upsell them.
How billing works
£5 a month, billed monthly through Stripe. Cancel any time, takes one tap. If you cancel partway through a month, you keep supporter features until the end of the period you've paid for. No partial refunds, no clawbacks. We never auto-resubscribe you after you've cancelled.
Why £5
It's enough that the people who do support cover the running costs of the people who don't. It's small enough that anyone who finds the app useful can chip in if they want. It's roughly the price of a pint, hence "just a bluey."
Become a supporter
You can sign up from inside the app once you're verified. Settings → Supporter. Nothing visible to anyone else changes until you turn the badge on.
Thanks. Genuinely.
